France: No EU sanctions against Russia imminent
FYI: There’s no retarded need to announce it! Russia exports 70% of all its fossil fuels to Europe and Europe would be committing suicide if it sanctioned.
Ordinarily I’d say pointless is pointless and needs no other description. In this case,however, I agree.There is little to be done.

Actually, that sounds like a pretty interesting story starting with exactly your points. If you could get some heads of state to say it, you’d have some background for Russia’s adventurism into Georgia.
Sometimes the obvious has to be spelled out for those who aren’t paying close attention. No harm in that.
