Idaho Department of Commerce – Gem Community Grant Contract for the Latah Economic Development Corporation (LEDC). Notification was received on April 1, 2008, from Jerry Miller, Economic Development Specialist for the Idaho Department of Commerce; that the City was awarded a Gem Community Grant on behalf of the LEDC in the amount of $45,000 for wet lab upgrades at the Business Technology Incubator. The City will act as the Grantee and Grant Administrator for the project. The Gem Community Grant contract is anticipated to arrive soon. Reviewed by the Administrative Committee on May 12, 2008.
