Here in the UK some councils (local government) rather send our household waste to the landfill give them (the refuse) to some companies who take them abroad (India or China) to dispose of. Please does anyone know of such companies and how do I get in touch with them. Also what is the name of this industry? Please constructive answer/suggestion only.
The only wastes that would be valuable enough to ship to asia would be steel or other high end recyclables. The rest can be separated into locally recyclable materials (glass, plastics, cans, and paper/cardboard).
Most rubbish companies have recycling programs. You should start with one near where you are.
