Export Import Business Details…..?

by admin on March 10, 2010

I am an MBA Finance Graduate wants to know is there any agents who deals with the export import licence as taking something from Government of India now a days become toupher…..and if yes what are their charges…..

I do not know from which state you had asked for !! There are agents or otherwise called facilitators available in all cities. I had seen many in Chennai too. It is very simple…. get application.. fill up relevant columns and submit with a processing fee of less than Rs.1000. A facilitator in Chennai charges around Rs. 5000/- for all inclusive of application fee and his charges.

But you should have registered company…or proprietorship company with valid bank current account, VAT/CST/service tax/PAN numbers, description about business/nature of Export/Import etc.

If all are in order, within a week you will get registered and will receive your IE code number. In India, this procedure is very simple and officers are very helpful without any bureaucracy since government wanted to encourage international business.

To get the one nearest available facilitator you can contact any Charted Accountant in your area.

Good LUCK.
