Then finally, last but not least, at one point in time, I spoke to a CEO of a company that outsourced. We asked him were did he find his resources and other additional information he need as far as outsourcing his products. He told us about a site called Alibaba ( http://www.alibaba.com/ ). At Alibaba, you find leads if you’re a company trying to sell something or you can find a supplier if you’re trying to find something to get made.

There is also a community there ( http://resources.alibaba.com/discussion_board/84/basics_of_import_export.htm ) with forums and all sorts of Q&A. You can probably go around looking for some answers and maybe even sign up and join. Perhaps you can talk to other people in the industry to get more advice from them that have hands-on experiences or maybe even an expert who knows a lot about importing/exporting.
