Actually it’s more …
Actually it’s more about the taxes, the average rate is something like 43%…. so… all that would be like 40% cheaper if taxes wasnt so high….. and belive me, i wouldnt mind paying all those taxes if i saw any return, but…. besides paying all that i have to pay for a good education and healthcare…… and even for security… that’s the problem….

While I agree with …
While I agree with you that Walmart is not cheap, not everything in Walmart is freakingly expensive, basic foodstuffs like rice, fruits, meat and vegetables are reasonably cheaper than in the US. But actually, it’s one of the cheapest supermarkets here and I recouped my investment in a Sam’s Club 1-year membership in 20 minutes or so. The problem is not Walmart, it’s Brazil.

Pringles chips for us it´s a rich thing, do u know what i mean?

It doesn’t matter …
It doesn’t matter about the exchange rate. Brazilians don’t have American dollars. Also when I was there the exchange was $1.90 real for every American Dollar. Peanut butter cost $22.00 real. A can of pringels potato chips cost $10.00 real. Go to the country yourself and ask the people.
