By far, most CEOs and corporations do not like free trade. In fact, they hate it. They hate competition and will do anything they can to stop it. What they love are policies that limit competition and free trade. Erecting trade barriers is basically a government handout for corporations. No longer do they have to offer the best services, products or prices to make a profit. The profit this gives them comes directly out of consumers in the form of higher priced, lower quality products.
