I am trying to export the database in xml format and it must be in xml format.
The Hyperlinks work in the report previews but when i export the links are there but you cant click them.

Can you post a sample of the exported XML?

XML reserves the forward slash for processing, you may need to substitute that in your XML output with the equivalent character; for example for ampersands (&) the character placeholder is & I believe. This may be why the links aren’t clickable, maybe the XML is not "well formed" and the system doesn’t see them as you expect.

spool the report to a ascii text file. create a table with the exact layout of text file. then open that file. commands

use <dbffilename>
appe from <textfilename> type sdf

If you just want a single table then it will be easier to import it into Excel. Use the Import Data option (Tools, Data, Import Data).

I don’t know about SQL Manager 2005 Lite, but in SQL Server Management Studio right click on the database and choose All Tasks, then export. This will start the Import and Export Wizard which is quite self explanatory.

In SQL Server Management Studio, you can right click on the database and select "export". It will give you the option of exporting the table structure or data to MS Access.

The other option is in MS Access you can right click in tables and import.

I prefer to export a to Microsoft SQL database on an Microsoft SQL database server. I heard that the enterprise version of Microsoft Visio is capable of doing this. If Visio 2003 or the enterprise edition is not capable of doing this, please let me know of an application that does. Thank You!

I believe you’d have to have Visio Enterprise Architect to acoomplish that. Tough question.
