I am looking to start up a handicraft import/export/wholesale business on my return to the UK.

I’m currently travelling around Africa approaching businesses looking for partners.

I would like to give the people i meet a business card with my name on, and my "job title".

E.G Aaron Carson – Import/Export Manager – Africa

I’m not sure what my job title would be?…I’m looking for business leads, buying samples and arranging for exportation to the uk.

It is never a good idea to hand out cards saying "Business Owner" or "President". All you are doing is giving every salesguy in the world a target to call you and waste your time. Also, then you never have an out of, "I’ve got to clear this deal with the owner," because they know it’s you.

I would call myself, Director of Business Development, because that is what you are doing.
